Ya she was on the birth control pills but has not be for a few years now. and its only been a few days taking the shot and the other pill that she might have to stay on the pill forum for a little while up 6 weeks to 6 months the doctor said. She is a nurse for the icu unit so she know all the ricks here. Thats why she is a bad patient. I think she has this problem from a surgry a year ago. I remember she had very bad pain where this clot is and i think somethong was wrong. There is no proof that this is not true. they say it cant be from that long ago but show me proof is what i want to see from them. All i know is i am drained and last night she was ok arm is starting feel a little better still a little stiff and is swallon but thats normal they say. and since it has not moved and they say the meds take up to 5 days to start to reduce the blood clot. And the surgry option is not safe if you cut. It may release the clot and will not be able to stop it. I have to stop getting so upset i had cheast pains last night and am so tired but i keep going for her. Brought her flowers and stayed up till 3 am with her and i am back at work already this morning at 8 am

 

No No No She is home. They didnt keep her she is giving her self the meds. Thats why i am so worried they sent her home with a clot

 

That's why I said, Nurses make the worst patients. If she was anybody else she would be sittin in the hospital right now but I'm sure she told them to send her home. Me and my wife have fought some horrible battles in the past because of her lack of caring about her own health care. She will completely freak out if she gains 10 pounds but abdominal pains so bad she can't stand upright for 2 days means nothin to her.

 

Ya but she did say i want to go home. She can not stand being on the other side. But Really there is nothing they can do right now it takes time to clear if it clears o god i hope it clears and she is back to normal. I will really need a long vacation when this is all over. The second trip to the hospital for the swelling and they still sent her home. They say everything is normal. Clot Normal what the..............................

 

Ya i dont't know if that could happen or not shes the nurse that was never saidd or talked about. I fell like just crying. If shes sick i get so sadd.

 

I've been praying for her every time I think of it, and asking people I know who pray, to pray, too. Maybe we should be praying for you, too, so you can rest and stay healthy, won't do any good for you to be down with something. Rest, nap, and relax in front of the tv together when you get home.

Hey all Well Sunday night was another trip to the hospital. She started to feel dizzy and short of breath. So I jumped up got her to the hospital. We were there till 3 am sunday morning. They did a cat scann of the lungs more blood tests. And at least the lungs are ok and her blood tests were ok but she was not drinking and eating enough and her heart rate was up due to potasium levels where a little high so she was feeling weird but at least i took her to make sure. She wanted to go. But the doctor this time was very good and didnt seem to worrie as much about the clot and he thinks the clot will not move but he even said you just dont know. Better to be safe then sorry i guess. Me Heck i had bad chest pains waitng for her to come back from the scann. Didnt say anything to her though. And my cold is getting worse. Taking a break today. So far she seems ok today. Sleeping laying around watching tv. I did find out this can take some time to disolve but the longer it stays in the same place the better chance it will not move and just desolve over time.
But again alll thanks for everything.

 

That sounds like good news from the doctor. Like now its just time for you guys to both just relax, rest, and let yourselves heal.

 

2/11/08 Well so far nothing has changed. We stayed out of the hospital last night. She was getting bad headachs but thats it. She is going to the hospital for the every 2 times a week blood test.

ya the did a cat scan no other clots were found and none in the lungs. Just that one evil evil clot. The headaches are from the meds/and its the time of the month. The swelling is still there but i think a little bit less. I just am so on edge right now not knowing what if ya know.
