Good to hear she is back home! We recently had a terrifying experience with our 13 month old daughter. She ran an unexpected high fever which caused a seizure. Seizure is normal effect of high temp in infants, but she did not recover from it for three hours. They were unsure if she was going to pull out of it. I understand how scary it is to see someone you love so much fighting for their life. We pray that Andrea makes a swift recovery!! We are here for you.

Keep in mind that somtimes Nurses make horrible patients. This means that you may need to stay on her about keeping this tended to and following through to find out what caused it so that it doesn't happen again. Medical folks deal with this stuff so much that they tend to downplay the problems with themselves. We've had this battle right here in my house a few times when she refuses to get treated for stuff.
You just feel free to keep this thread active until you can come back and tell us that everything is good with her and the crisis is over.

I want to thank everyone for there suport. We brought Andrea home tonoght. The released her and she still has the clot in her arm, But she is to take a shot every 12 hrs in her stomach and it should disolve in a few days. I guess if the released her it should be ok. I don't think they would have unless they new for sure. God I hope. The lungs as they could see from the scan look good. Hell We smoke so how good I dont know. I am still a little worried that she has a clot but she knows the signs of trouble she is a nurse. But again Thanks to all that gave there suport. And i dont even know over half of you.
O ya dont bring someone home from the hospital thats grumpy and tired in a diesel with stacks .

I'm praying for her full recovery, keep us posted!!
I had a clot in my arm last year after someone screwed up starting an IV. It wasn't the dangerous kind, thank God, they gave me antibiotics to clear up the infection that started on it, and it all went well, just took time, but til we knew what it was, very scary!
