Does any one know if the rotation on a alternator can go either way?

 

Yes, they charge in both directions. The fans need to be switched to work correctly if you spin opposite their intended direction, and make sure to use threadlocker on the pulley nut.

Other than that, they work.

Interesting....(although they say not to use an externally regulated alternator) externally regulated alternators can be used as long as you wire in the voltage regulator---internally regulated alternators just make for a cleaner installation.
