Try a drug dealer on the corner!
Seriously I don't think you are going to get anything that works for $200. I paid $85 just to renew my Concealed Weapon License.
Even pawn shops will be over $300 for junk.
I wish you well keep looking and ask your neighbors. Well maybee you can go to San Fransico they have lots of people there that don't like guns and want to get rid of them.

God forbid you ever have to use your pistol for self defense. But if you do, your encounter, 99% of the time, will be between 7-10 yards. My G30 that I traded my Kimber for would shoot accurately out to 25yards. Plus, if anyone is hit with the right .45 hollow point, they aint goin very far. I agree that the .40 S&W shoots flatter. Good luck to the OP on your search. If you shoot a lot, you might want to think about getting into reloading. It's a fun hobby and saves you money and can be done quickly with a progressive loader.

safe action trigger, my rectum If the glock is loaded & a pencil, twig, little kids finger, or anything that wonders into the trigger guard & pushes or pull on the trigger the glock will fire

This is what my wife choose for concealed carry. It's a Charter Arms Undercover in .38 special +P. 5-shot cylinder and amazingly accurate for a "snubby". Thing we both like about it is the grip is big enough to get your little finger on, which aids considerably in control and instinctive/reflex style shooting (shooting at natural point-of-aim; i.e. not using the sights) but still carries very comfortable in an inside-the-waistband holster. Since you are a southpaw, they even offer the, well, Southpaw version (below) which has the cylinder release on the opposite side of the frame and the cylinder swings out to the right. They also have Double Action Only versions with a shrouded hammer if you like that idea. We bought wifey's for $309 brand new.
Are they a Smith & Wesson? NO. But they are still well made... here in the STATES and they go BANG every time you pull the trigger.
If you want more "ooomph" than the .38 has to offer, they also market the "Pug", chambered in .357 Magnum. I would recommend practicing with .38 special loads if you go this route as recoil with full-house .357 loads can only be described as FIERCE, even with the ported barrel, but loaded with preminm 125 grain hollow-points, you would have one of the best man-stoppers available that can be fired with one hand.
I realize many don't feel revolvers are "cool" in these days of High-cap autos, but as a defensive weapon, they are near perfect. They don't jam. There's no switches, bells or whistles you have to worry about disengaging before it will fire and they will shoot ANY LOAD, no matter how nasty and wicked the gaping hollow-point may be. Something many autos may not do. In other words, they are utterly reliable.
Go here to see the whole line-up: Welcome to Charter Arms

Crossbreed Holsters > Home
I wore mine all day yesterday with a t-shirt that was pretty tight on me and when I got home and undressed for bed the wife asked if I had the gun on all day, she never saw it. This was a day of driving, climbing ladders, walking around shopping and goofing off... never once did it get in teh way or feel uncomfortable. I can honestly say I forget its there sometimes.
