like what was stated above one of the reasons i love having a 16yr old brother lil punks in the area beware.

but for that video it doesn't surprise me that nobody did anything seems like the only time anyone whats to get into your business is when they tell you how you should run your life not when you need their help.

Amen to that, Governor Bush changed that for us about 8 years ago made us a shall issue state and done away with the must flee on the street to you can stand your ground and meet force with force and you allowed to shoot to save yours or someone's life.

So our crooks have to figure that in when they pull something, how many people are going to be pulling guns on them, so our crime rate went down.

So we had 5 cops show up, told them what was going on and the first thing out of their mouth was which one of you swung in him, your going to jail, none of us touched him as the angel was underage, but that just pissed me off and does stick with you.

Oh and my friends who were cops each one of them ran a back ground check on me, trouble is I had a secret cearance and they cept up with how many times people are checking up on you and if you get ran to many times in a short time, you get to go talk to security offices as they got a FBI inquirey on me, so it was my cop friends who got me in warm water, instead of just asking me what they wanted to know, so as least they found out they can cause some harm doing a simple check to them.
It's getting a bit rediculous on the streets nowdays. The damned departments busting officers chops to wriote more citations (create revenue), the political correctness run amuck and officers who are either too stupid, too lazy or too worried about thier jobs, to figure out who belongs in jail and not just throw everyone in jail for the hell of it!!

Background checks (actually, NCIC/FCIC inquiries) are considered a routine part of police work. I ran them on almost everyone I met on the street that I didn't know personally. Victims, witnesses, suspects, everyone. Be surprised how many "good people" have outstanding FELONY warrants ().

But I've never seen a reason to run a check on a friend

Either way, it should have been easy to explain away to the intell peeps investigating your clearance..

As for the "who swung on him" part, was the little angel injured while being held? If not, then why would they ask?

Anyway it just seems like there's always one or two cop haters on every site...really starts to get old after a while

I guess I do see where you are coming from though

Anyway, no harm done

No hate here, just talk, as for the angel, no one even held him, he was still walking up and down the street out of his mind, seems he calmed down when the LEO's showed up.

Seems like it has changed a little since we became a shall issue CCW state, the only one problem I had was with a LEO that retired in Jersey and moved to Florida to work and didn't learn our gun laws, but after he ran my gun and CCW, we had a talk and parted friends and he learned the rules are different here.

We can carry in a car or truck without a CCW, it just must be 3 steps to fire, open box, remove from holster and **** and I don't have to inform a LEO I'm even carrying according to the 700 laws, but seeing how I don't want to get shot by someone nervous, I will tell them, plus their computer will tell them when they run my tag, I have a CCW.

Having a CCW you know right off the bat, I'm not a felon, not been proved a nut case yet, have not beat up a spouse, that's the only misdemeanor they can take your CCW for, I've been trained and know it's against the law to use my weapon on a LEO .

So most times I get pulled over DWL[driving with ladder],it's a profile, if you have a ladder, you can't drive without drinking a beer, I get pulled at least twice a year for that, never had a beer, so use to get a warning about something , with the CCW I been just told to go on, have a nice night or day.
