Fargo is in the process of being sued because they raised their traffic fees over the state. A lady got a ticket a few years a go and fought it and it went all the way to the ND supreme court. The lady won and at that time Fargo along with a lot of other towns lowered their fees. I do believe Fargo is still fighting this.

Fight the ticket. You have witnesses of the officers almost creating a accident. Call the prosecuting attorny and ask how you can file charges against the cop for reckless driving. Their first offer will be to throw out the whole case.

Only $13 bucks? Man your lucky.
10 years back I got nailed for 4 over in Rosendale, WI $35.00
I find out later that this is the ticket capital of the world. I have never driven thru there again. I guess they make more off of tickets than any other city.

You are correct. Due to the lawsuit and the troopers only charging $10 for a ticket damn near 20 over the limit is why it was so cheap. The cop told me that if it hadn't been for that, the ticket would have been around $100. Which is still cheap compared to SC.
But no, I'm not going to fight it. I know in my heart that I was not going 35. I haven't gotten a ticket in the last 9 years, but I have put so many miles on a vehicle in that time running anywhere from 85 to 115 in those years that I knew it was going to catch up with me sooner or later. I'm just greatfull that it happened where the fine is low and the cop was cool as hell. The 1 point will be gone in 3 months, no big deal. I'm send in my $13 check tomorrow and get on with life.
