When i got to work one day, this man is in a huge panic, He had just bought a brand new dodge truck, and He left his pitbull in the front, He said he wasnt gone an hour and the bugger ate the steering wheel. He was so mad I thought he was going to kill the dog right there...... But i said NO Problem we can fix that. I own a fabric store, I got a piece of leather with leather straping and wrapped it up nice................ I wonder if that dog is still around......
If i leave diago in a leash too long he will bite it in half.
So i dont tie him up at home, by laws pissed at me, cause hes running free, He keeps the bears out of the yard, and the bylaw too... Hes a working dog....protecting us like he suppose to do..

Sounds to me like you just made him a giant rawhide chew toy.

Default Here's what I did for the dogs

My dogs when riding in the truck are in a crate in the back of the truck which is tied down always
I hope none of our members here are dumb enough to let their dogs ride in the back of the truck while not secured in a dog box or crate
It really tics me off as well when I see dogs hanging over the side and back of trucks unsecured. I came up with this idea, works really well especially if you have 2 dogs. There's no way they can get tangled, no way they can hang over the side or tailgate. I measured it out and bought the plastic-coated cable from Lowes, along with the clamps and such. It's like two mini-dog runs, the leash cable is looped and clamped around the larger "run" cable, so they can move front to rear, but can't reach the tailgate. Just thought I'd pass this on, I worry about my Boys and would never take a chance on endangering them. Maybe someone can benefit from this...I've had a lot of people comment on how neat it is, and it doesn't cost much at all to fabricate. --David
