How's Your Dog Ride?
with my pickup bed I'd let him ride in the back untied, he could stick his head over the side but knew that if he so much as set a paw on or over the side I'd whoop him. he jumped out one time while parked in a parking lot thinking I wouldn't see him...that was the last time he tried that, ever. if a wreck happened that was bad enough that he'd fly outa the bed, I don't think it'd matter if he was tied in or not.
now with my flatbed, he rides on the floor in the front.

Interesting thread. We were just talking about that.
Last time I left dumbass in the truck while I was out,
she ate the freaking seatbelt.
Oh well, no biggie.
Now if they're in a wire crate, what do you do for protection
from the weather? Sun. Rain.....

I think you better move over.... looks like he wants to drive.

If I'm in the Cherokee, she rides in the back end with the seat folded down, and the two back windows rolled down about half way so she can stick her head out. In the truck, I fold the back seat up and unfold the panels under the seat. I'll either open the slider, the side windows or both.. If I don't, I'm cleaning nose prints off the glass.
All I have to do is ask her "You want to go bye bye?" and she's running around the house ready to go at the drop of a hat. I don't dare say those words around her unless I'm ready to take her somewhere, or she'll pester me til I do.

Good looking brindle Boxer you got there redrammer. My 2yr old fawn Boxer (Matilda) rides shotgun just likeyours. She sits up tall and just watches everything. She's still wild as all get out, but rides calm in the truck.
