Make it so every time you come to the site you have to sign in to the badlands to see it, that way the people who complain about it don't have to view it. I personally like the badlands but don't see why we need 3 threads with **** pics, when I joined there was the BBG thread now there's 2 more threads all with the same content. Hell you can see the same broad in 3 different threads. Then theres the Demotivational and the WTF thread, what I want to know is WTF is the difference between the two , same garbage in both of them. Sure they're entertaining to some, but anybody can see those pics on the internet without having to see them on a diesel site. Personally I think if someone wants to discuss guns and ammo I'm sure there are forums out there specific to them, sure I like reading good information on the subject but on here it's just become a place for some to brag about thier personal posessions and others to post up non factual info to make it seem as if they know more about it than they actually do. Lastly if there's a member who is causing chaos constantly are they worth it (no I don't mean me)

 

Being a newbie to both to DB and diesels I have leaned a lot here and maybe I don't have the "seniority" to express an opinion. I would hate to see guys like Mike leave. Yea maybe I have asked dumb questions but that is because I don't/didn't have the knowledge to ask the right questions. With the help I have received here I am learning the right questions to ask.

I have never viewed the gun or **** forums. I come here to learn about diesels, not **** or guns. I know about both and if I want more I would go to a web dedicated to either **** or guns.

Mike if you do leave let me know where you land so I can keep up my learning!

 

Another idea is make it so new users have to have so many posts to even get in the badlands. We need things to get users more active. Theres only maybe 10 guys that come here reguraly and post stuff whether its in the badlands or tecg sections. Ill answer questions in tech sections if im pretty sure on correct answer. But ive noticed alpt of the time newbs post ask a question or two and never come back.

Two things. No matter how new you are, your opinion DOES matter. We're trying as hard as we can to make DB a member driven site. We want your input, new or not. In fact, the input from a new guy could arguably be just as valuable as a senior guy. Everyone has different outlooks and we want to hear all of them!

Second, there are no dumb questions (unless you're asking me how to roll coal or you're telling me why Banks makes a superior product, then I might slap you). Seriously though, we all had to learn at some point, questions are always good. If you're asking the question, chances are there are 10 other guys sitting there watching, not posting, with the same questions.

Your input about the guns/**** is appreciated.

How does everyone else feel about it?

Personally, I don't think the site "needs" it, but it's not really bothering me. I wouldn't lose any sleep if it disappeared though. *NOTE* I'm not saying eliminated badlands... because I think that is a section worth keeping, but some of the context... not so much.

As for me leaving... I'm still here man. I'm everywhere. You'd be hard pressed to find a diesel forum I'm not registered to... powerstrokes, cummins, duramax, tdi's, you name it...

I think some of you guys can answer more questions than you even realize. Sometimes a simple google search will yield the result. OR, even better... search right within DB. Chances are it's been talked about before, all you have to do is search it, copy the link and paste it in the new thread! Easy Peesy! You're right though, we do get members signing up, asking questions, get the answer and BOOM, gone. I think that happens everywhere though. We will never get EVERYONE to stay, but we can try to get MORE.

Guys, really appreciate the input so far, please spread the word through the forums and get everyone in here commenting.

 

Ok the badlands isn't just **** and we need to get that straight. There are many other topics including a thread where Adults just go to talk, off topic and just having fun as Adults.

It is just a place to go and have fun and if you do not want to view "adult nudity" the threads are easy to find so you aren't going to accidentally click into them. The F thread is a place where all of us in the badlands go to talk. It isn't just "****" and there is allot more to that section than what is being portrayed. We go there as adults to have fun and talk about whatever goes on in our life or just to kill time.

 

I think you,joe,martin,ryan,jerrod, and all others behind the scenes do a great job. We just need something to kick the other sites asses.:thumbup:

Not everyone that goes to the Badlands is an adult, there's more to being an adut than age

 

As for the badlands, you can't wander in there by accident there isn't any penetration so it isn't ****, cussing is aloud, but you need a password to enter

 

Yes you do need a password to enter but if you leave the site and come back then you should have to sign in again rather than being already logged into the BL. Who says there has to be penetration for it to be ****, nude pics are ****

 

if i sign in from my ipod it will log me out of everything, causing relogging in of badlands and diesel bombers altogethr.
