I dont know much about this site joe, ryan, and jerrod and mdubb do they would seem to know more of what we need as they "watch" us every day and post here almost everyday. Ill try and think of some ideas for new things for the site because id hate to see it go honestly.

Have people forgotten to PM each other? I would like to point out the last on topic post was my last one over 60 posts and 4 pages ago. When I first looked at my profile page, I was excited to see that I had so many posts in one night. Now I am just sick of it. I dont much care a few vehicle pics got here from Google, I just wish hijacking to such an extent as this would stop. Please get back on track or I will have this thread locked.

We're all tired of his moaning and complaining and following
a few members around so he can beak off at them.
He has ruined enough threads in this place.
If he's tired of this place he can move the **** on.

I really think there needs to be an Administrator with a level head that can bring in and hand pick the right Mods and Super Mods.
Also have a No conflict policy that the Administrator enforces on the moderators so there isn't moderators fighting each other and members ending up getting involved and then the Moderators enforcing the same no fighting and slandering policy onto the members.
You are less likely to get new members when they look at the sections and see people fighting all of the time. That's not what a new member is looking for. They are looking for a place that is informative and fun and that is where you will get big new member counts and more active members.
Not like a group hug type deal but rather a place to go where people are not fighting but everyone is being mature and respectful.
Edit: Also it would be nice to have a section right below "Ask DB" and call it "Ask IB" where members can ask IB questions in a thread that no moderator or admin or other member can see that is Private rather than the PM It would be nice to be able to see it as a full on thread instead of messaging back and forth directly with IB. That way members can ask you directly and have their own private thread with you on topics that isn't just messaging back and forth.

Then we could talk about things and have fun threads without conflict and then no worry of having some huge fight just for making a thread. Things would be more on topic of the thread and it would be much better for the forum.

I really think getting certified tech's for Chevy, Dodge, and Ford and making them moderators over that section with an administrator to teach them the right way to treat the members and to keep things onto topic and to keep the moderators from provoking members would greatly improve the tech sections and all of DB.

To your point about the no conflict... this is a can of worms right here, but honestly man to be on forums you have to have thick skin. You can't take everything so personal. Was there stuff said and done that shouldn't have been? More than likely yes, but I think everyone needs to know their limits. I saw one reported post from you that said you were "literally sick and throwing up"..... dude if that's happening, STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD. Why is DB more important than your health??? I don't get that... If it's effecting your health so negatively, you should seriously consider taking some time off. I know I've had to walk away from some forums for a while before. At the end of the day your health is worth way more than this site. Just keep that in mind. There are other mods on here too you know... you can always PM one of us.
Most guys who sign up are NOT looking for a cool place to hang out. They have a diesel truck and have a problem with it and are trying to figure out a way to fix it. That's probably how 90% of all diesel guys find a diesel forum anyways. No one specifically signs up here because we have a badlands. The idea is that we have badlands to get them to stay once they see the site. We have a TON of guys sign up, ask a question, get their answer, and boom... never see them again.
How many of you guys down here in badlands are actually up posting info in the tech areas? I'm not talking one or two posts. How many of you make MORE posts in tech areas than in badlands? Or is it flopped? Do you make more posts in badlands than tech areas? It seems everyone agrees we need more TECH info, but who's going to be the one posting it? It's not going to post itself.
Tooting my own horn again here... Look at the 6.0 section sometime. It's one of the most viewed areas on the entire site. You know why? Because a year or two ago I started answering EVERY question in the section. Doing it over and over... I eventually got a couple other guys to stick around. Smart guys. Now the 6.0 section is blowing up. We're getting new members daily. Sometimes we're getting 3 or 4 new members a day just to hang out in that section. The proof is in the pudding. You want the site to grow? Post in the tech sections. Post write-ups, post simple things if you have to. The more knowledge loaded in those tech forums means the farther we move up on the google search page, and the more traffic we get here.
Things we can stand to lose?
Stop with all of the useless non truck and non diesel related crap here:
https://www.dieselbombers.com/latest...industry-news/
Posting about trucks that are not diesels I can see... ok, whatever...
Posting about cars with diesels... good, we like anything with a diesel in it
Posting about the new Ferrari? Does anyone here really give a ****? Do you guys come to DB to read about the new Ferrari? It just doesn't belong here and to me it's a "cheap" way to get people to "click" on the site. If someone is really interested in anything similar to that, they're not going to hang out on DB just to read that. The site is called DIESEL BOMBERS, ie, diesels and the guys/girls who like to mod them!!!
I was told there would be changes made to make it more diesel or truck related. What happened... well then we get posts about the new Fiesta, DIRECTLY in the powerstroke section...
It's the small things. We can make some small changes to vastly improve this site.
I'm done rambling now, I'm going to just sit back and see what everyone else has to say.

I dont think this no conflicy policy is worth it. Its a damn internet forum not a ******* high school people get over yourselves. We joke,we laugh some may take it to serious which in turn causes others including mods to chime in. I agree with mdub about the tech sections if i knew all the answers to them id answer them but i dont and dont want tp tell someone to check one thing and it may be the complete opposite. Tommy if this site is affecting your health why are ypu on here? Im not picking on you just curios noone is out to get anypne on this site, people are tired of seeing some things and not enough of the diesel things. Im not i dont care, i do care though that it could lead to DB being ahut down.
