Seriously I like the BL but I can understand that it drives some people away from the site. Thats why I say make it so every time you visit the site you have to sign into the BL. That way people who arn't into it don't even have to see the titles of the BL threads. Kinda like hiding gunman and his toys in the closet

I agree that it needs to be changed. Now when I go on the site, it feels so damn cluttered compared to when I first joined. I think that's the way it should've stayed, except for the extra areas like the tech articles. I agree the sponsors should be back up top like they used to be. I also agree there should be a 150 post requirement before you can go into the badlands. That seems pretty reasonable.

The home page is so full of **** that the only way it
can be viewed as something other than thrift store
shelving is to condense every single section.

It's like any other section here at DB. If you could
care less about dodge trucks, you don't go in that
forum and carry on like a little douche do you?
The owners can make it 10 or 100 posts to get in.

I made some comments about joe recently.
It wasn't him I disliked. It was the behaviour he slipped
into. The site has lost a few good people and he was one.
THE WHINING NEEDS TO STOP PEOPLE.
Or we are going to continue to lose good guys.

The List
We are all ears to make changes that improve the experience for the community. Just come up with a list of suggestions, and why, and we can start to work through them.
One theme I note in this thread, is the idea of placing a gate on the badlands, so that you need a certain number of posts to get in there. I am not at all averse to this suggestion. What would be a good limiter? 15 posts maybe?

3: GTFO and let the mods have the power to change stuff so they can actually do something for the site instead of just be your way to make it look like your helping.

Alright some of yall know me.. some of you dont.. I joined cause the info i read on here actually helped me make up my mind on the truck I bought. I thank yall for the helped me with my past problems.. ill admidt im guilty of goin in the badlands a lil to much from time to time.. when people are having issues i try help out when I can.. granted i could help a lil more... But from when i joined to now.. it seems like are has more f***ing drama in here the last couple of months then I have endured my senoir year in highschool and quite frankly we are all "adults" but some people bring it on themselves.. and ill probably try to help more in the tech sections and the cummins section as much as possible.. but i did join the igotacummins forum and I must say I joined n never returned.. theyre site is a true cluster f*** I will agree we need to make changes.. one thing some people need to realize though.. if you got personal problems leave it off of here.. kinda like when ya go to work you seperate your personal problems and work problems... I have had some **** happen to me that probably fucked me up till the day they lay me dow in the ground.. but you don't here me complaining bout it.. if you don't want drama don't cause it.. if you don't want nicknames dont give anyone a reason to.. but i think if the rest of that are still here spend a little more time helping the new guys out to our best potential it might actually help bring in new people.. n i dont know why the armory got put to the bottum of the forum but if you ask me is kind of stupid being you try to get new members and they want to get a price qoute or somthing like that its at the bottom of the flippin page.. thats kind of a nice way to treat sponsors ain't it? It should at least be above the badlands and the sportsman and other off topic stuff since that is on topic.. just my .02 cents it may not of made a lot sense but wth I gave it a shot
I suggested to IB to move the sponsors back up to the top and was just shot down on it.
