Alright some of yall know me.. some of you dont.. I joined cause the info i read on here actually helped me make up my mind on the truck I bought. I thank yall for the helped me with my past problems.. ill admidt im guilty of goin in the badlands a lil to much from time to time.. when people are having issues i try help out when I can.. granted i could help a lil more... But from when i joined to now.. it seems like are has more f***ing drama in here the last couple of months then I have endured my senoir year in highschool and quite frankly we are all "adults" but some people bring it on themselves.. and ill probably try to help more in the tech sections and the cummins section as much as possible.. but i did join the igotacummins forum and I must say I joined n never returned.. theyre site is a true cluster f*** I will agree we need to make changes.. one thing some people need to realize though.. if you got personal problems leave it off of here.. kinda like when ya go to work you seperate your personal problems and work problems... I have had some **** happen to me that probably fucked me up till the day they lay me dow in the ground.. but you don't here me complaining bout it.. if you don't want drama don't cause it.. if you don't want nicknames dont give anyone a reason to.. but i think if the rest of that are still here spend a little more time helping the new guys out to our best potential it might actually help bring in new people.. n i dont know why the armory got put to the bottum of the forum but if you ask me is kind of stupid being you try to get new members and they want to get a price qoute or somthing like that its at the bottom of the flippin page.. thats kind of a nice way to treat sponsors ain't it? It should at least be above the badlands and the sportsman and other off topic stuff since that is on topic.. just my .02 cents it may not of made a lot sense but wth I gave it a shot

do people go to religious forums and want an atheist section?
do people fo on hunting and fishing forums and ask for a PETA section?
I mean the people who have diesels are interested in guns, knives, hunting and fishing, and to try to break up the monotony, we have a section for jokes, religion, videos, rants, arguments, politics, TASTEFUL nudity and all potentially heated topics and asult conversation.....
just wanted to clarify....

Interesting thread. Yes, I'm here, not gone forever. Slight misunderstanding from my end with Mike. I'll be here until a decision is made from someone if they want me here or not. I am still waiting on a reply. Until then, I will be around, likely less active than normal.
150 posts to enter the Badlands sounds fair.
Leaving your personal life at home is a very good idea. If you don't, expect to see comments you won't like. When that happens, don't complain about what you have brought on yourself. Be the bigger man, and walk away. Bullies bully people they get responses from. Without the response, they will go elsewhere.
We've got enthusiasts of all types here hardcore diesel members, diesel members, off topic members, ford chev dodge, red green blue, and some that don't care either way. If your one or the other, expect the other to not agree with your ways. It's going to happen forever.
New sections, removing sub forums, all good ideas. Not every idea will be acted on. You members need to decide what you want. From there, it will be worked on in the back room. Hopefully an example can be presented and asked for opinions. Once the members think it looks good, it will be applied.

We are here daily "watching over", but watching only goes so far. We have been informed the members must make the choices, as our personal opinions can not speak for the members. I will admit there have been situation I have seen where a PM comes in handy with a suggestion to a member. A suggestion that I feel will benefit the situation. Where the member takes it from there is up to them.
With any change, it will take time. I have been informed many times that IB has over 110+ other site to take care of. Change may take time, but acknowledgement of an idea should be prompt. This is a major issue for me. It's almost as bad as seeing a thread with a post count of 0 (zero) after a couple days. That member may never come back due to that. Also, the member with the idea may not bring up another as they feel ignored. I feel this can be a lesson for all, members, staff, and IB.
Cole, many good points in your post. Let the record show the staff was not confronted on the new arrangement of the forum. I too agree the Sponsors should be high on the list for what they contribute. This is something you as members could try to rearrange. Let us know how you think it should be laid out and why.
I hope a good weekend to all, and to see you around. This guy is off to reinstall his EJWA.

I think most of us agree on that the site needs a change.. for the better and like i said before the off topic should be at the bottom like any other traditional forum.. who cares if you dont get a lot of people in the badlands the first instant. I'm not saying take it away i just feel that its complete bs that off topic is higher on the lisy then the sponsors.. and of course we all members, staff, admins, etc need to work together so we can turn this crap around.. I may be one of the youngins at 21 yrs old but the whole drama bs needs to take the back seat.. if ya want the site to last any longer.. maybe change some things up.. I'm sure ill have some ideas later... But the whole adding sections and sub sections is the least of our worries... If we don't get the gasser guys in here it dont bother me.. not right now.. i know we could take some sub sections and maybe combine them together in away.. just an idea
