DRIVERS FYI

Every scale I have passed has actually been closed more than usual. Haven't even seen many DOT cars running around either.
The scales I am talking about are on I-20 E between Columbia SC and Augusta GA. I-20 W just west of Columbia. I-26 E & W between Columbia and Spartanburg.

If any of you run I 78 East or West in NJ at about the 6 yard stick they have built some new super coops. Well in there rush to get the permits to build them some how they missed the fine print and they can only be open dust to dawn they have to close at night Man do the trucks ever roll down that road at night

Sweet, I havent been across Montana in forever! I love it out there. I ran 70 out of Salt Lake city on my way to Chicago back in the end of fall n hit a nice little snow storm in Wyoming, that was a nice drive dispite the snow. Saw a real good accident that looked like 2 big trucks, but ended up being 1 that the driver jack knifed so hard he split the trailer in 2 pieces!

I'm not registered as a commercial truck, but I tow my dyno around attending events, doing dyno days, and to customers locations. I am wondering if I'll have a problem with DOT? The truck isn't lettered, but the trailer is. Should I also have "Not for hire" added? My understanding is that since I'm not transporting anything for someone else, I didn't need to be commercial, but I'm always watching my mirrors for the red and blue lights.
