If they want ya, they got ya. Ain't nothin u can do about it. My truck is always legal, for the most part, it's the logbook that's only legal when you stop and redo it. Any driver with a fast truck ought to know that, especially when you r going cross-country.

5, how'd he pull that off? I have a hard enough time keepin up with one. I don't know anybody who has got nailed for anything yet, some states ain't even got there scales open. Went by 2 in Mo. today and 1 out of 2 in Iowa that were closed. Maybe they're on strike.:pc: Illinois was workin hard on I-64 yesterday, Iowa on the SB I-29 today, that's all I've really seen. I'd like to keep this thread goin for future use if anybody finds out anything useful we need to know about. Stay away from S.D., I just about got tornadoed about 20 minutes ago. It blew the door off the truck stop I pulled into right as I was runnin inside.

'm just kiddin. I do run legal 99.5% of the time. You can't get away with nothin no more. During these 72 hour deals though, you have to be extra legal, because they are picky. My goal with this thread is for everybody to keep everybody else up to date with new laws and other things that drivers need to know to stay within the law. Those awards get too expensive and we work to hard to be givin it all back to the man with the shiny badge and gun. Everybody be careful, thanks for keepin your eyes open for us.
