where is the spin on filter for the 68 rfe.Is it internal or external.And i always use vavoline 4 synthetic transmission fluid in all my dodges.

that would be nice so you could spin one on once a year with out droping pan

you have the other filter in there also. i changed my filters and fluid at 50k and then at 100k. brian said it was not needed the 2nd time we changed it. the fluid was still clean as a whistle. i done a lot of towing too.

i'm at 52000 so it needs it.IS THIER a way to drain torque converter.

flush it and they say you dont have to change the filter and all the old oil comes out
