what is the best auto transmission for a 93 1 ton a c6 or i think its a eo40

depends on what you want to do. e40d has a overdrive, but has a computer and electronics. c6 is only 3 speed but no electronics.

your 93 has a e40d

well mine is shot and it cost to much to fix it so im putting a 5 speed i have in it

i looked at it last night and it wont start with the wiring unhooked from the trans any ideas on how to fix that

need to bypass the neutral saftey switch. or jump the starter solinoid on the fender. just make sure it isnt in gear.

weres that switch at and i had a truck i jump on the solinoid for a month

switch should be down on the side of the trans.
