Down more trouble

well i gota problem i lost my head gsk again. first time around i lost it twice before i found out the head was warped gota new head and stud kit and was fine for about 20k. wonderin if this is normal. I just put about 7k in to it. a new 5 spd, clutch, trans. case, driveline air dogand rear main seal in a matter of three weeks. before the clutch would only let it pull around 25psi and now itll pull around 38-42psi might that jump in psi do it?

well there is a long checklist associated with this like did you torque and re-torque correctly, did you "baby" the truck right after the new head gasket, did your truck ever overheat? many factors play a role. trust me i know all too well.

what timing are you running and did you make sure the block was flat?

Does it always blow in the same spot?

here is the checklist you need to look over and see about first.

when you found out the head was warped did you have a machinist check the block deck and make sure it was flat?

once you did the studs did you re-torque the head after the truck went through a heat cycle? i know of people that do multiple re-torques.

like above, did this gasket blow out in the same spot as the previous ones? if so then that proves the block deck is warped.

what is your timing at?

what mods do you have done to the truck?

that high of boost on a stock turbo can create insanely high exhaust drive pressures. this can cause a head gasket to fail.
