Default rear crank seal

im going to be pulling my tranny and everything.
should i replace the rear main crankseal?
and if so what is the procedure?

i just know some people say change it while your their. didnt know if it was a big task

how much does the seal cost? if its not like 300000000 for a seal i prob would cause u already got the tranny off... idk how to do it though haha

im not sure how it installs but i would suggest doing it as long as it didnt take a special tool, on our chevys at the shop we have special tools to remove and install the seal and without them ull mess up the sealing surface. i would def make sure u talk 2 some1 whos dun it b4

its pretty easy. and do it while your in there. i didnt do mine when i did my clutch 2 months ago and tomorrow ill be pulling the tranny again to do the rear main

i think its like 50 or 60 bucks for the seal. its not too bad just like other seals. pry the old one out and tap the new one gently in without damaging it
