Hello all I just got my first diesel it's a 2002 duramax lb7 starts real good when cooled down but when its hot it smokes a little check engine light comes on and the ac stops working and when I shut it off I haft to prime sometimes to get it to re start I got the injectors checked and there ok I no my way around gasers really good never worked on a die before any ideas on what this could be

 

had a similar type problem last night with my lb7, when you prime it on the fuel filter and at the valve, does it come foamy or bubbly at all? if so you may have an air leak in the fuel system. as for the a/c issue,,,,i have no idea. does it just shut off on you while youre driving or idling?
