so i have this nightmare truck here after getting a bad motor from the junk yard. the customer is going through another yard that has a 99 6.5 diesel but the truck im working on is a 94 .the guy at the yard says it will go right in no problems and has done it before. i mean i would think obd1 and obd2 would be different. someone please answer this before the customer goes and buys this motor and im sitting here with two motors that wont work. thanks for any help guys.

Yes 94 is OBD-I 99 is OBD-II the donor engine from a F or S VIN truck, the recipient a S or F truck, S engine may have some different emissions sensors the F does not
