How much did the tranny cost in your 99???

 

There all about the same price, for a cheap rebuild that wont last... about $2500 or so.

For a BTS that you will never have to replace again... $4000...

 

That's not as bad as i thought it would be

 

Moral of this thread... Do it right the first time if you plan on keeping the truck and building power.

Oh and TS chip.

 

I'm gunna attempt to do it right the 1st time this is my 1st time ever owning a diesel plus im only 18 so i really dont have much of a clue. But i know a lot of diesel mechanics around here that are willing to help me with whatever and lead me in the right direction i hope. U think the TS is the better 1 also so im probably gunna go with that then.
