Default 99 super duty headlights

im looking at putting new headlights in my truck, heres the link, 99-04 FORD F250/F350/EXCURSION SUPERDUTY LED HEADLIGHTS - eBay (item 310289806229 end time Jan-25-11 17:06:48 PST), and my question is, is this hard to swap? how hard are they to pull out and put new ones in??

Looking at them they should be an easy install once all the OEM is out. I used similar to this kit: 99-04 FORD F250 F350 SUPERDUTY HARLEY BLACK HEADLIGHTS - eBay (item 130488014344 end time Mar-19-11 11:50:17 PDT). I had to trim a little, but it was easy, and they look great compared to factory.

ya i watched a video on youtube, do you really have to take out the whole grille support to get the head lights out? i dont think i will have to trim due to the fact that i don't have any extra plugs,

No, I didn't have to take out the support, just the grille and lights, trimmed it up, slapped it back together. Didn't take long.

Its a real pain to get to the clips, but completly doable without pulling the core support.

i did my headlights and my buddy's without even touching the grill, if i wasn't worried about busting the grill apart i might've taken it off but you can do it with the grill still in, and headlights will do WONDERS for the looks of a truck

i know this has nothing to do with the headlights but we're talking about the grille and i was told that the grille out of an 07 would snap right in place, is this correct? and ya i just spent my funds for the headlights so now thats on hold
