so i have my truck apart right mow and having troubles acuale getting the turbo to come off if any one could help me out that would me great

 

What have you removed?

Need to unbolt the down pipe, the compressor Y pipe, the exhaust collector or babys butt, then remove the two bolts on top of the turbo center section...

At the bottom of the exhaust housing there is a small clip, push it toward the turbo to unhook the exhaust back pressure valve...

Remove turbo.

 

ya that clip is what i am tuck on what tool did you use to push it off

 

I use a special tool called my index finger... I use it to push the clip closer to the turbo pedistal. Your not trying to remove the clip, just sliding it over.

LOL i think i was stuck on that for an hour or so myself.

 

I've cut my thumb on a few that just would not move!

 

ya was noy expecting that to be that easy i thought that it was an C clip like on the blow off valve
