turbo replacement
 

so i have my truck apart right mow and having troubles acuale getting the turbo to come off if any one could help me out that would me great :argh:

What have you removed?

Need to unbolt the down pipe, the compressor Y pipe, the exhaust collector or babys butt, then remove the two bolts on top of the turbo center section...

At the bottom of the exhaust housing there is a small clip, push it toward the turbo to unhook the exhaust back pressure valve...

Remove turbo.

ya that clip is what i am tuck on what tool did you use to push it off

I use a special tool called my index finger... I use it to push the clip closer to the turbo pedistal. Your not trying to remove the clip, just sliding it over.

LOL i think i was stuck on that for an hour or so myself. :argh:

I've cut my thumb on a few that just would not move!

ya was noy expecting that to be that easy i thought that it was an C clip like on the blow off valve
