Turbo Surge

How do I stop it, get rid of it, reduce it. I know surge hurts performance and mpg. So I want to get rid of it any one know how to do this.

Getting rid of your chip will stop it, but who wants to do that?

You can fight through it with your foot also...

A wicked wheel will help, as well as a different housing... or a turbo swap.

say for sure but I have heard that the wicked wheel and new housing help a lot. As was already said.

The definite cure is an ATS ported compress housing. They usually run around 425-450.

A wicked wheel AND 1.0 exhaust housing can stop it as well if you have stock injectors and are not at a high elevation.

Can't port the OEM housing.
I tested the ATS, WW, and the ATS and WW.

ATS cured surge 100%.
WW cured about 80% or better.
ATS and WW cured surge but was too loud for long distance driving.

Does anyone have any links to videos of the WW installed.... I want to hear what it sounds like before i commit.....want to make sure it's not too loud.... but I want a distinctive sound from the exhaust....
