i would like to buy the trans and transfercase...... with drive lines and all

does anyone know if it is ok to drive in locked position down the road with no harm to anything?

 

It will not hurt anything as long as its only 1 hub..... if both are stuck i would sugets pulling driveline, u can take the allen screws out of the hub and remove the locking drive pucks in side.... wich will un lock the hub the perminate way.

 

thank you for solving the problem. I am not thinking clearly, always challenges to work out, and should of realized that the hub would not engage when both are not set to the right, as this has been my experience since i purchased it and traveled extensively till scammed.
i called three different mechanics and no one gave me the right answer but you.
thank you for being a thinker, experienced, and most of all very kind to reply with the correct answer. makes you wonder who is running these diesel mechanic shops.

On problem, most mechanics don't want to hand out info with out being handed some cash, they all knew the answer or they were totally stupid... or both..LOL.... if ya need anything else just holller..... more than happy to help....
