On a 6.2, think the turbos were of Renault diesels or something, ran pretty good. Wastegated at 8psi or so.

I was planning on something similar to that just building like a marine style exhaust manifold with a riser heading up to the turbo and making the piping smoother. I even thought of tryin to make a set of intake headers like the banks big hoss I know older perkins v8s ran them and seen a set up with turbos feeding each intake runner.

I still say that it's going to be one of the best dodges around. tell you what, take a trip up to canton and pull the turbo off the left engine of the 320, it never gets run anyway. just don't get caught. Robs been round the 320 and the 420. Or just pick up one of the green tagged 250s and put it in you're truck (awesome power to weight ratio).

Thats almost identical to what im looking at doing. Looks like you got some serious power out of it and it runs good. And by the way sweet truck

One question where do your bovs dump? I thought the normally went on the boosted side of the exhaust not in the pre turbine side... How does your setup work? Seems like it would make a horrible mess blowing soot inside the engine compartment unless you routed it into the exhaust pipe exiting the turbo.

Very true Im working on buying a welder now with my christmas money and hopefully will be starting this soon. Gotta get it completely mounted in the truck

What size turbos did you end up running? I know yours is a powerstroke and can handle much more boost than our idi's they can handle 10ish pounds of boost. What kinda boost are you cranking? You just made my day seeing a sweet running parallel turbo'd diesel

With your IDI, and want about 10 to 15psi of boost then it will be easy to find turbos. I used a small T3, the problem was finding a T3 that can handle 50 to 60 psi. that's why the turbos that I am using is a hybred with a 8mm shaft. The T3 you want will have a 6mm shaft and can only push about 20psi before it blows. The nice thing about these turbos is that you can pick them up for about $500 each. So good luck and enjoy your build.
