And once again the shadetree mechanics and backyard wrench turns have figured out how to outsmart the industry experts with unlimited resources. Come on Skip, you know better. How many times did we see bogus threads on DP from knuckleheads tryin to stir stuff up? Anyone who has knowledge of how the system works will know that it is not an easy task and definitely cant be done by putting some resistors and in-line with the sensors.

Also, stating that these guys are by-passing the DPF without issues on an LMM isn't the truth either. I guess PPE, EFILive, and all the industry pro's with their vast resources and unlimited budgets got out smarted by some shade tree mechanics.
PS- Me, Skip, and Aaron will be happy to post up threads on DP from all the industry experts on the subject. All three of us are long time DP members and Dmax drivers before we became mods here.
Hey Tex, I want to issue an apology. The reason I posted this is because it appeared in your previous post that you were stating you've had your LMM for a week and it was straight piped. I misread the post.

Just a reminder guys, this part of the forum is on the 6.7 Cummins, not the LMM. There is a section for that.

The 6.7 CAN be done. And it is time consuming and no it is not simple. But can be done. I have been researching this since I bought my 07 6.7 cummins. The truck is bad ***. Just not enough noise. I have removed the sound supressor in the intake pipe and removed the muffler and tail pipe. Picked up .04 mile to gallon. Put in muffler delete pipe and millage dropped. But CAT and DPF can be removed. I am in proccess of doing mine.

There is a set up by HS Performance. It is a complete system, filter delete, cat delete with a plug and play module.

I believe they are still having some issues with the dpf delete. Also there is a cat right behind the turbo. It definiately will take time. Cummins system is a whole different animal. I think there is a lot of untapped potential with this engine.

Cool news Mike!!!!

I am working with 2 guys here that have deleted both the cat and the DPF with no issues on the 6.7

I have PERSONALLY seen both of these trucks and it was so simple i couldnt believe it. There is a section of pipe between the cat and DPF that holds all the emissions sensors and such. They cut this section out and kept it while removing all the rest and welded this section back into the line. Since the DPF sensor never gets a signal that the DPF is full, it never goes into regen mode. These clowns didnt even know there were issues with the computer and such, and they havent thrown any codes and the trucks run super. These are just 2 pipeline welders with too much time on their hands. I will monitor and report any issues.

Fuel mileage has improved drastically as well.

Yes We've got 3 Offroad (hmmmm) trucks that are running straight piped! MBRP Kits for the 06-07 LBZ's fit great, As well as our budget kits! We dont recomend it but it dose work! Theres also EFI and Quad Software for the removal of the DPF. Theres very similar things coming up for the 6.7 but not so much on the powerstrokes! I dont recomend or support the modification of Emmisions exhaust unless the truck is designed for off road usses (hmmm)! I will also say the 6.7's sound great straight piped!
