Default crankcase filter

how do you bypass this crankcase filter setup on these 6.7l. has anyone done it yet i don't think these motors need this. I'm sure you can set it up like the 5.9l

No the newer engines actually have a filter on the blowby tube, im assuming its set up much like the ISX engines, the stupid filters will fill with oil and gunk from the blowby and throw a 'excessive crank case pressure' code...i would just remove the filter and run it like that unless it throws a code for being to free flowing or something stupid.

But i think it would be fine just to remove the filter from the casing it sits in and then run it........

yeah we kept having a truck come in with that code...and i realized that there was a filter on the crank case breather and when we took it off the thing was filled with all kind of oil...changed the filter and problem solved, it is absolutely ridiculous the stuff they put on these engines to "save the earth"
