Default EGR and DPF with Power?

Alright so I got this Idea MAybe good or bad lets hear some input.

With the way the EPA is cracking down and along with the local.

What if I was to build a motor with some bigger injectors, modded CP3, Fleece or Industrial upgraded stock turbo. Obviously Studs, DPF back Exhaust and a nice DPF EGR Friendly tuner you think I can have power.

I mean they say the injectors will work fine with the DPF and stuff well atleast DDP says their do.

Some tuners out there put down alot of power with the DPF EGR on still like the Flashpaq.

What do you all think Cause Im still thinking about getting one but if it doesn't make over a 1000 ft. lbs. it's not fun for me.

if you want DPF safe power then i would guess banks is gonna be the route to go. Injectors are going to add too much soot. DDP claims otherwise though. As long as you dont add more fuel then air then you should be ok. Problem is, you will never know though because the DPF is keeping you from seeing the soot level.

even so with more fuel and air come high egts and thats the main reason for a free flowing exhaust right?

You can add power with the DPF and EGR intact, but I see a list of problems that go along with it.

With big power, you'll make smoke. Smoke = more regens and a clogged DPF. If you cause damage to the components, would you really want to put everything back on the truck for the dealer to repair?

With the restriction of the stock exhaust system, I'd HATE to see what your EGT's would look like with all the mods you listed.

Aftermarket injectors, CP3, etc., can void your warranty just as easy as a DPF delete. All depends on your dealer.

The EGTs on an '08 stock 6.7L were amazing before we de-BlueTec'd it at the shop last winter... programmer was defueling the engine on excessive EGTs from the probe mounted under the passenger seat.

No wonder you can't drive them into the fields during a burn ban!
