Alright 6.7 guru's... I helped a friend put on a DPF delete pipe and an edge JwA on his 08 6.7 last night, and then today i am reading about some EGT foolers.. Someone said that the "foolers" in their H&S kit were basically some 325ohm resistors plugged in to make the computer think that temp is too high for a safe regen, therefor keeping it from hitting Regen.. So if i go to radio shack and get a pack of resistors, and then solder them onto some butt connectors so it will plug into the connector and then cover it with shrink wrap, Will this work keeping it from going into limp mode? Not too worried about softcodes, the edge will take care of those, just dont want it going into limp mode. I have also heard of people putting in 1k ohms in the front sensor and then 680 ohms in the back 2 sensors... I think that if the H&S comes with 325s, i think that is what we are going to get for his truck, but i want to make sure that is it going to work....

i installed my h&s kit and i had to unplug two connectors to block the egr, the butterfly valve harness and the harness on the bottom side of the intake horn i believe was the throttle position module. give me about 6 mpg with the exhaust egr blocked and xrt tuner. one other note if you still have a funtioning dpf on your truck you CANNOT block your egr without clogging your dpf!!!!!!
