I just got an 07 what do you have to do to unplug the egr. And how does it make it run, what are the good and bad of doing this? Here is my truck just got it to day. Got rid of my 01 5.9 for it.

OK i have a brother that has a 08 so here is the question, is it against the law for the trucks owner to remove this stuff or only against the law for a biz to do it. Is this against the law at all...i mean J walking is against the law and we all do it. Is this something we can get away with or not..ever hear of someone getting spanked because of it??

"Hey, guys im new to the dpf but am an avid diesel tunner. I have been trying to figure out if i can just make my own pipe and use my edge juice with attitude monitor to clear codes. Do i really need one of the modules to fool the computer. I already have my egr unplugged right now. Any info is appreciated"

made my own pipe and yes you will need to address the sensors . cant just eliminate and be ok with programmer

against the law to remove emissions control devices. unless your off road . as a biz i aint gonna risk my licence on the delete market when im makin a bunch off the non dpf truck.

i love my 6.7 and i aint lookin back . but then i have no warranty and dont care what the had strapped to it ill keep stripping it till im happy.

matter of fact thinking of starting a diesel shop . our motto will be "slower than gassers and half the life" ill specialize in used dpf and egr gear.

The EGR is the main culprit causing all the problems in these trucks. Get rid of it and your truck will be happy. Now, doing this without also deleting the DPF may cause lots of black smoke when you accelerate so most guys choose to do both deletes at the same time. My truck only smoked a little bit with just the EGR unplugged...
where do i find the egr to unplug it. is that the harness on the air filter box. id like to unplug it to see what it will do for my truck as long as it wont cause any prolems.
