How many RPMs do you drop when your TC locks?

Ive got a rebuilt trans (with stock parts...ya I know) and I feel like the TC is so loose but every one tells me its normal.

so when the TC locks in say 5th how many rpm are you dropping?

i never really checked mine. i know it goes down quite a bit. i will try to check mine out and see.

 

I think it's something like 300-500 RPM depending on the gear and how hard you're smashing the little pedal.

from a stop accelerating up hill with a 18ft car hualer with a s10blazer on it. The Rpms drop about 600ish when locking up in 4th....then only 300 when locking up in 6th
