I use the Valvoline Synthetic. I wouldnt use it if it said approved by Dodge but its recommended by Cummins. Used its in my 24V for 8 years. Always change it at 7K-7500. Going the same in my 6.7 with no problems. 190K miles on my 24V and 130K on my 6.7.

If you're not going to install a bypass oil filter and run synthetic oil to extend you OCI's there's no point in buying synthetic. You'll be throwing $$$ down the drain.

I run Rotella 15W-40, Mopar filter (both from WallyWorld) and change at 7,500 miles. I hot shot also, so at times I'm changing my oil every other week when I'm busy

In the next month or so I am going to delete my EGR/DPF, the next mod will be a bypass filtration set up and synthetic oil. I will go by what UOA tells me but I will hope for 40,000-50,000 mile OCI's.

my friend is running mystic synthetic blend. he has 340,000 on a 6.7 and his oil is clean when u pull the dipstick.looks like out of the bottle.he just barely did deletes a month ago.the oil has some kind of detergents in it to clean the engine.i think im going that route.

I don't have a 6.7, but I used the oil that's on sale (rotella, delo, del-vac) they're all good

Delo 400le is dino. I spoke to my local commercial supplier and it's Delo 400 minus the zinc so it doesn't mess up new emission stuff. He said old Delo will be phased out.

I should have said that the LE does not contain zinc, but has other additives in place of the zinc that don't harm emissions components on newer diesels. Supposedly the replacement additives work as well or better than the zinc they replaced.
