Well I might as well pipe in and say AMSOIL is a good choice, as are others. The big thing with your truck, assuming your DPF is still in tact, is fuel dilution. Yes, some oils can help diminish wear better than others in the presence of fuel, but this is what will eventually limit the distance you can go. I would not run more than 7500 miles without getting it tested and seeing how it is doing.
If no DPF, then no worries. Yes you can run amsoil farther, (3x OEM interval...without the DPF), but I still like to get an OA at some point just to make sure nothing else is going on, then I feel more comfortable with the 15-20k intervals I run.

i was just wondering some guy told me when u run over on oil changes it regens more and the ctalyst fills up quicker cause the oil when used up creates gases in the crankcase.and after 6000 miles it breaks down.i think he was talking out his *** cause know he has a 2011 6.7 Fuc3in Old Rebuilt Dodge.he also told me 6 months ago the new rebuilt dodge(ford) was coming with 6.7 cummins in them..
