Default White smoke

Upon cold startup, within a few hundred rounds of initial fire, say 5 sec, I am seeing a puff of white smoke out the exhaust as well as feeling a "lope" of the engine. Initial, cold start is the only time this condition happens. Have heard in other threads people say injector, but if it were an injector, wouldn't I see this condition other than at initial start. Can tuning cause this? Others???

Thanks in advance.

That's normal in a lot of cases, my 12valve does the same thing sometimes. I've asked about that and I was told that it's just a little fuel in the cylinders after the motor has been off for a while. Then it gets burned out.
