i know guys that has done it. there is a member on here by the name coorsman that has done it.

yep have a thread on it too. search through my threads. just gut the filter. the biggest thing is get hose unhooked off of your intercooler plumbing.its bad for everything. how i done mine is with a 90* elbow to a filter.(pointed up so if any oil came out it ran back in) <<<(in theory) like the ones you buy. but you do get a slight smell time to time. but theres options too just to 90* a hose down and run it down close to the oilpan. if i do it again this is how i will do it .

you can order them. or build your own for less then half the price
