$10 Magnetic Valve (Start/Stop Solenoid) for VW Diesel Injector Pumps. VW Diesel TDI... Is this the best place to get a solenoid...Also read somewher on here that a stock injector ic truck will eat these solenoids with the pump turned up. Is this true? If so guess ill need bigger injectors. any recomendations? Going to get a hx35/40 hybrid from htt in the next few weeks.

 

from what i hear they will, i own a factory non intercooled so i never had thise problems.... plus i have after market injectors

 

The best solution is to install a pull-cable shutoff and be done with it. Those solenoids will not only come apart and clog up the delivery valves, but are also liable to leak and just generally not worth the hassle, an unnecessary complication in what is a basically mechanical, non-electronic machine in the first place. Their only purpose is to enable the engine to be shut down with a key switch, more familar to the motoring public customer base.
