it was 475 shipped back for the 5x.14's. including all new horseshoes and injector o rings and all that good stuff. i think he said they would add somewhere around 80 horses on a stock ve pump and around 125 or so on their p pump versions. pm the guys at southern diesel extreme for the exact specs on em though

I'm doing a set of micro-blind nozzles for a certain 14mm VE 1st Gen with triples. I may or may not be doing a few sets of the impinged nozzles, one for a 1st Gen, one for a 2nd Gen.

I know this thread is old, but I just wanted to shed some more light on the subject. I have never ran a 6x.0xx injector and I seamed to make pretty decent power. I ran a set of honed 370’s (5x.013) for years. I took them from 317hp to 638hp without touching them. I have also ran different sets of DDP 4’s 66lpm, 72lpm, and 76lpm and with all of them I was over 600hp. Just for giggles I had a set of the original 185’s honed and they measure 5x.010. I never have dynoed them because I thought they would be a little restrictive for the 14mm pump. If I get my hot 12mm pump back I might just put it on with the 185’s and see how it does.

I currently run a set of the biggest 12 valve injectors that Lenny from Dynomite Diesel has ever built. It was kind of an experiment and I am still doing some testing with them. I was not able to do an apples to apples comparison when I dynoed last time because I was having some difficulties with my FASS, and my valet switch. I have not worked on my pickup since about September and I am hoping that I will be able to start tinkering sometime soon. I have a very special project in the works that I would like to finish.

Do you know the hone size or hydraulic rating? I would be curious to see something in the 5x0.020" 5LPM range with a large sac entrance.
