A good pin will be made from a solid piece of stock and will be heat treated.
Avoid bullydog and ddp because of weak heat treats.
Denny makes a good pin, but it is really aggressive. Good if you want max power, but it will affect fuel economy.
I went with Mikes Old Smoky power pin. Mike designed the original, allowed ddp to use his design initially (now they make them without permission), and bullydog copied his design also.
I've read multiple places Bullydog pins groove badly because of lower quality steel and poor heat treat, so buyer beware. I suspect Bullydog gets them from DDP.

Here are the two pins side by side. You can see the difference. The stock pin on the left is rotated to its deepest setting. You can pick up a little more with grinding, but you will never get anywhere near an aftermarket pin.
