Default Nv4500 swap advice

Hey everyone I'm looking to swap a manual into my first gen and I would really like a six speed but I found a junkyard second gen with nv4500 and I would be able to buy the transmission adapter plate starter driveshafts pedals the whole 9 yards minus tcase for 500 hundred bucks. The truck has 500000km but this is supposedly not the original transmission either way I would bet on it having at least 300000 km . So my question is what would you guys do ? Any first gen owners that have swapped over willing to pitch in ? It's not a six speed but all the little parts to complete the swap would come with the tranny.

Default buy the nv4500 if you are ready

Buy the nv4500 it's a great deal for that tranny!
I swapped an nv4500 into my chevy cummins...its a real monster of a job. Hopefully this isnt your first rodeo because it wasnt simple.

It might be slightly easier but just make sure you can find a clutch pedal assembly, and if your installing a hydraulic slave be ready for some fabrication work to get the clutch pedal and slave working (at least it was a pain in my chevy k30)
