First let me say i've already done a search and im still not sure what all is needed. My dads friend wants to swap out the getrag trans in his 91 D350 2wd for an NV4500. He found a 4500 for a great price but isn't sure what else is needed for the swap. The trans he found is out of a chevy bread truck that had a 4bt in it.

So far i've found that he needs the 2nd gen clutch and flywheel. What else is needed for the swap. He's tryin to do this on a budget so custom adapters and "kits" are probably out of the question. Thanks!

A buddy of mine and Bobby's put swapped one in his '89 for the Getrag. He's on here occassionally as puddlepirate. He did all the work his self so he would know exactly what you need. I'll try to ask him next time I talk to him if you still need the info.
