Considering the timing doesn't leave any "wierd" tracks in the ECM, no it isn't detectable unless they pull your tone ring/crank sensor and see that it has been mod'd.

RokkTech Its a good way to get a littel extra. But be carefull what kind of BOXES AND DOWNLOADERS you run you can get some rattel going on real fast.JUST MY 2CENTS.

You take the three or four bolts off the crank pulley and the tone ring is just behind it. You take the tone ring off and bore the dowel pin hole with a dremel tool or something and rotate the tone ring as far clockwise(looking at the front of the truck!) as it will go on the dowel pin. Lookin at the truck straight front toward back, you grind the hole out to the left. Tighten everything back up and it will supposedly give you a little more low end power and increased fuel mileage. Have yet to do so because I cant get the frickin bolts loose cuz Dad wont hold the belt for me- my dad is one of the ones who say "Just leave the damn thing alone!"
