Default Couple of issues

First one is not much of an issue but wanted ur input....I dont go by the make a wish mpg meter for actual mileage but I noticed on my 4200 mile round trip i just took that i get btr gas mileage when I take my EJWA off lvl 1 setting and it got btr every lvl I went up. has this happend to you guys?? the meter was recording a 3mpg increase from lvl 1 to lvl 5????

Second on the trip i was blowing soot out the pipe at just driving normal on highway and it would get worse if I accelerated. When I got home i put some SK gray bottle fuel additive in and it went away.. I didnt think that stuff actually worked. I guess my question is what cause all the soot to begin with.

Third and final after I install all my mods on SIGNature my truck is a hard starter now. It use to crank right up now when im in the parking lots people look at my truck just to see if it will start. Whats up with that.

What is your fuel pressure with the key on and the pump running?

When I had my pressure set higher than 18psi it would hard start every time

Killstroker,

I think that with the edge as you increase the level's it adds the timing differently or at a different boost level I think. However, once you set it to 4 and above, that limit is bypassed and the timing is added before any particular boost is built. Not sure if that makes sense how I typed it. I too saw a mileage increase on a trip from Maryland to Knoxville Tn. Of course lower mileage on setting 3 and best mileage on level 4. So I ended with like 21mpg with a super b special at the time and 175hp injectors. I even hotrodded it and ran at a faster mph on level 4 than the trip there on level 3.

Hard starting could be as simple as an injector tube oring if you have recently swapped injectors.

As far as the SK......no idea man, sry bout that one.

I thought the edge just added fuel and didnt mess with timing?

Blake, The Edge adds both timing and fuel. The timing they advance is not as much as some other chips like the quadzilla but they do add some. And my truck does the same as yours and oudive.
