From what I have heard the intake horn isn't worth the coin. And I don't think the ez does boost fooling so the elbow will make it defule after 20 psi

I put the banks intake on mine and i wouldnt put the stock one back on. It doesnt matter what brand u use. They all are designed the same and do the same thing, taking the flat spot out of the stock intake and puts ark in the intake to creat a better flowing intake path. I dont know on the defuling. I put that little elbow on and you could tell a difference. I would think the EZ does fooling.

Hmm good to know, as for intake I never did try one but seen dunk results that didn't help or hurt with either one on 03 and newer they do because they neck down so small. They definetly look cooler though

yes dmax can be made to go faster but they are not half as dependable or tough as a cummins

I know on my '00 it helped. Ive seen that too where on the CR they didnt show much improvement but on the older ones the did. The newer ones have better turbos so they could pull the air through better where the 24v and 12v needed all the help they could . Yea the Dmaxs are kinda "touchy". Thats why both of mine are Cummins. That little boost elbow shouldnt of shut down ur truck like that. All it does is hold the wastegate open longer. It has a smaller orfice so it takes longer for the wastegate to open. Maybe Im wrong though. Dead pedal is usually caused by injection problems. Could be something else. Sounds like a serious problem waiting to happen.

Agreed. Might be too late for the lift pump.

yah no kidding but now it pulls fine and nothing seems to be wrong with it so i have no idea what it could have been i don't think that it would run as good as it does now if the injection pump would have went out

sometimes it doesn't just fail all at once, it goes out slow! mine took about 3 or 4 times of it doing this before it finally gave up, gives you time to save up to shell out the cash to get one!
