ok so how much does one cost? and how long did it take for yours to die? and i am deffinately getting a new liftpump any way

around 1k for a pump, they have package deals that come with the lift pump too for a decent deal. as for the length of death its different for everyone. it might do what yours did and last quite a bit longer or it might die tomorrow, its a hit and miss. the hot rod pump isn't worth the extra money. an ho pump doesn't give as much hp potential as a so pump so you know. i honestly would just start pigeon holeing some cash here and there for a pump for a just in case fund.

sounds like a good idea by ay chance how much is a package deal for both pumps? and what pump is best to pump as much fuel as i want reliably with a good lift pump

if you are going for reliability i would just pick up an so pump. i don't remember how much the package deals are, you can throw up a price quote and the vendors on here would be more than happy to help ya out!

The last article I read in Diesel Power states that a HO pump can only fuel 150HP injectors, and a SO can fuel 250HP injectors. The SO will have a longer life span as well.

thanks guys yall are lots of help
and i guess i'll be saveing up for a pump then a lift pump
and could yall tell m if my pump could possibly just do that one time and still live for another year or two

yah just wondering cause got a baby on the way and hope that it don't go soon especially cause that truck is how i make my living

yah had to practicly raise my lil cuz it is alot of work and helarious at times and congrats to you too whitch you think is better just a replacement lift pump thta will put more pressure on the line or an airdog
