Your really going to enjoy it. One of the keys to enjoying it is to make sure you tune it to your truck. The guys at Fleece are top notch!

if you use the fleece control, it looks at rpm and fuel and i believe boost pressure to control it. you could also ditch the electric motor on the turbo that controls the nozzle, and use a wastegate and springs.

after 8 days of playing and tuning the controller, i think i have it really close! it spools instantly between shifts-my old hx35 took a couple of seconds.

i put fuel in today as well. even with all the drag starts and tuning, i'm up almost 1.1 mpg from the last fill. a 2 year best of 15.555 mpg

Only 15? I get over 20 right now. Hand calculated. How big are your tires? when did you get your valves adjusted last?

265/75 tires. i just adjusted valves last week, forgot that. but i did it last summer as well. i put them at .008/.018 this time. that could be some of the mpg gain. gosh, i changed a lot all at once this time. (turbo, 4 in dp, valve lash, coolant, tstat) still have a boost leak that i didn't get too (grid heater plugs).

i suspect my vp is the bigger issue. i purchased the truck 3 years ago and soon found out it had 0 lp pressure. p0216 comes and goes too. sometimes it's there sometimes not. surging cruise, etc. new apps 2 years ago. i want the vp to be dead before i get a new one. orginal so far at 117000.

Im at 190k on the orginal vp. Its had an airdog for a long time. Im running 315/75s. The big that helped was 50hp ddp sticks. I never get worse than 18 mpg. I usaully shift around 1500 rpm. I put the airdog on at about 110k. Got the truck at 37k.

i'm looking at a different set of injectors, these jammers smoke a bit. for tires i'm leaning towards 235/85s, they're the same height as 265/75 but narrower. i need a new set before winter for sure.
