110's too much for a stock turbo trust me.

 

i am pushing 29 pounds boost. it sounds like i am kinda done with mods until i can put a bigger turbo or see how cheap i can compound for. with a bigger turbo i will have to get the head done as well wont i? turbo, exhaust and head mods are gonna set me back hard in the cash department. maybe i just put in a set of 75 hp injectors and not run it hard in level 6. I havent spiked out egt's in level 5 so maybe that is the ticket.

 

I had 150's on my stock hy35 there for a while and to be honest it ran cooler than it does with my 64/71/14... Especially while towing. I can easily hit 1500 degrees with the setup in my signature, and that was something I actually couldn't do when I had my stock turbo. It maxed out at like 1200 before. Weird

 

Whos 64 are you using Brad?

 

my head was o-ringed and studded but no port work done, ran a stock exhaust manifold and 4" turbo back. the 75's will be nice, but if you want to get a turbo etc just wait and buy both when your ready so you don't buy too many sets of injectors. I went through 5 sets in a year. jammer 100's ddp 110's, ddp 200's, ddp 250's and then lightning III's.
