what is tapping the pump?

 

well when you want to get a fueling box you have to tap the pump to get any power out of the vp44 trucks?

 

I bought my truck with the edge already on it how can I tell if the pump has been tapped

 

Look on top of the Vp and you'll see 2 wires going into the top of the pump, the wire closes to the block is the one that gets tapped, you'll see another wire scotch locked to it. Not all fueling boxes require you to tap the Vp wire.

 

if you get the comp now you can always tap the wire for more power. if you buy that quad you will have to buy another box to get more power.

 

i know but i dnot want very much power. iwant a max of 100 hp and then i would like to be able to roll the coal?

 

so when we put the edge comp in my brothers truck i dont remeber doing this, can you get more power this way?

 

It's an insane amount more power, but ya pay to play.
