im going to be getting some guages soon and was wondering as long as im going to be doing some wiring would it be wise to get a turbo timer and install that as well or just go without one?
What? A turbo timer can be had for less than $100 with remote start. Who's going to rebuild your turbo for that? Not to mention the truck downtime and repairing things such as the intercooler from a shelled turbo.

where can i buy one of these, i want 2 for that price. just to have a backup
i have one and like it... I can be patient and sit and wait for cooldown but I can not get the wife to do it so the timer is fool proof. Plus when i get off the highway with a load and its 102* outside, it can take a while for it too cool to 300* and I don't always want to wait on it.
